This year we welcome Keynote guest Ginny Heinitz, RN, BSN,CHPN, Outpatient Palliative Care Coordinator, Confluence Health and Plenary guest Hope Wechkin, MD, Hospice and Palliative Care Specialist, EvergreenHealth. Our own Leslie Emerick, MPH will deliver another inspiring Plenary discussion around Public Policy with legislative updates sprinkled in.
We’ll be presenting the 2023 Stu Farber Award to this year’s recipient. There will be a Welcome Reception Monday evening. Hilda Harmon’s famous Silent Auction will start Monday morning, concluding Tuesday morning. We will have the annual WSHPCO Business Meeting, including election of board members. There will be opportunities for participants to network with one another. Aligning with the strategic goals of WSHPCO, we will offer a Pediatric Palliative Care track.

- Operational & Regulatory (Monday)
- Pediatric Palliative Care (Tuesday)
- Psychosocial & Other

CONTINUING EDUCATION A maximum of 11.25 CE hours will be offered for Nurses through the California Board of Nursing. Also, this workshop has been approved for 11.25 CEUs by the Washington Chapter, National Association of Social Workers (NASW) for Licensed Social Workers, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapists and Licensed Mental Health Counselors; provider number #1975-153. CANCELLATION POLICY Substitutes are welcome. Refunds (minus handling/processing fees) are available if notice is made by October 17, 2023. No refund will be granted thereafter. WALK IN POLICY Walk-ins are welcome if space is available and payment is made in full.
