Supporting Our Colleagues Affected by the Spokane-Area Wildfires

The wildfires that have swept through the Spokane area in recent days have had a devastating impact on communities throughout the region—including members of our hospice and palliative care community.

Some of our colleagues have been evacuated from their homes, and others have experienced the unimaginable loss of their homes altogether. As they continue caring for patients and families while facing tremendous uncertainty and loss in their own lives, we would like to offer our support.

WSHPCO is creating an opportunity for hospice and palliative care providers, partners, and members of the public across Washington to contribute to assistance for colleagues directly affected by the fires. Donations collected through this effort will be used to support members of our hospice and palliative care community who have been personally impacted.

Every contribution, regardless of amount, is a meaningful way to remind our colleagues that their hospice and palliative care community is standing with them.

Thank you for helping us care for those who spend their lives caring for others.
